Upcoming network meeting and CFS side event.
In conjunction to the CFS46, the Global Action Network will arrange a meeting 14 October, 15.30-17.30. Venue: German Room, FAO HQ.

At this meeting we will give a short update of the work so far, share latest news, including the follow-up after our last meeting and discuss next steps for the network 2020. As an outcome we will also seek to convey a message to the Our Ocean conference 2019 which takes place in Oslo 23.-24 October. There are several arenas relevant to take action in accordance to the Global Action Network Mission. We invite members to share their actions at the meeting, including information about relevant upcoming events. We also welcome ideas on further development of the Global Action Network.
The Global Action Network will also arrange a side-event, with thematic speeches, the same day, 18.00-19.30 in Red Room, called “Treasures of the oceans and inland waters – ensuring food security and nourishing nations” “Gaining and sharing knowledge in the Decade of Action on Nutrition. From healthy waters to healthy people”.
