All enquiries during the conference, including technical problems, can be addressed to the Service Desk on the ground floor next to the hotel reception, or to one of the hosts.
Conference Venue
The conference venue is wheelchair accessible.
Due to a limited number of lifts, we encourage the use of stairs.
The conference will be held in smoking-free areas. The hotel entrance will be smoking-free.
The conference registration will be located on the ground floor foyer, right next to the hotel reception.
There may be guide dogs present at the conference.
Getting there
The conference venue is located in the city centre of Oslo, approximately 22 minutes from Oslo Airport by train.
The trains stopping in Oslo are wheelchair accessible.
The conference venue is approximately 150 meters from Oslo Central Station. The route is wheelchair accessible and will be signposted.
A parking garage with disabled parking is available at Jernbanetorget 1, 0154 Oslo, around 500 meters from the hotel (for a fee).

Recording, streaming, and photography
Please note that filming and photography will be taking place during the UD2024 conference for educational, promotional and archival purposes. The photographs and recordings made are likely to appear on Bufdirs websites, printed and online publicity, social media, press releases or in any third-party publication.
Participants waive any right to inspect or approve any images or recordings and any matter regarding how they may be used. Bufdir owns all images and/or recordings associated with the UD2024 Conference and reserves all rights related to them. Unauthorized use of Bufdir-owned images and recordings is strictly prohibited.
Unauthorized recording, filming or photography of any nature is strictly prohibited. This policy extends to all official activities held in any hotel location deemed part of the event (function rooms, presentation rooms, poster room, etc.).
Please contact the event organiser prior to the event or notify the registration desk upon arrival if you have any concerns or do not wish to be filmed.
Presentations
Speakers are responsible for the contents of their presentations.
All times are final, and the schedule will be followed.
Hosts representing the conference organisers will be present.
The UD2024 Conference does not give out personal information. You may seek information directly from the presenter after the session.
Interpretation
Speech-to-text
Speech-to-text interpretation will be provided at all sessions. The following will not be interpreted:
- Conference dinner
- Workshops
- Field trips
Personal interpreters
We aim to provide sufficient space and light for the participants’ personal interpreters. Please contact us if you are accompanied by a personal interpreter.
Hard of hearing
Induction loops or alternative systems will be provided at all sessions.
