The Norwegian Ministry of Defence is delighted to invite our Nordic colleagues to the XXXVIII Nordic Military Legal Advisors’ Meeting.
The conference will be held just north of the Artic Circle in Bodø, at Hotel Scandic Havet, between June 2nd and 4th 2025.
The topic for the conference is “Hybrid warfare in a legal perspective: Dimensions challenges and resilience”.

About Bodø
Bodø is located centrally in Northern Norway. The Lofoten islands are available through a ferry ride of approximately 3 ½ hours.
The Norwegian Joint Headquarters is located in a mountain complex near Bodø.
Bodø is historically a fishing settlement, with its location close to Saltstraumen, a narrow strait with one of the strongest tidal currents in the world providing good fishing conditions. Fishing is still an important industry, but in modern times there has been a shift towards business related enterprises and administration.
Bodø was a European Capital of Culture in 2024. It is also home to the best football team in the Nordics.
The final day of the conference, the 4th of June, marks the first day of a month long period of midnight sun.
