{"id":1197,"date":"2014-02-19T10:15:45","date_gmt":"2014-02-19T09:15:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nettsteder.regjeringen.no\/ansvarlignaringsliv\/?p=1197"},"modified":"2025-07-15T13:21:03","modified_gmt":"2025-07-15T11:21:03","slug":"ncp-norways-peer-review-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nettsteder.regjeringen.no\/ansvarlignaringsliv2\/news\/ncp-norways-peer-review-report\/","title":{"rendered":"NCP Norway&#8217;s Peer Review report"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"text-wrap post-content clearfix\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/files.nettsteder.regjeringen.no\/wpuploads01\/blogs.dir\/263\/files\/2014\/02\/Peer-review.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1181\">\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>NCP Norway volunteered to undertake a Peer Review process, which was conducted in Oslo from 21 &#8211; 23 October 2013.\u00a0 Representatives from the NCPs of Canada, Belgium, Colombia, Netherlands and the United Kingdom were the official members of the Peer Review delegation, and representatives from Hungary, Mexico and the OECD Secretariat participated as observers.\u00a0 The Canadian NCP chaired the delegation.<br \/>\nThe objectives of the Peer Review were to strengthen the performance and functioning of the Norwegian NCP, by engaging with domestic stakeholders and counterpart NCPs from OECD countries, and to contribute to the strengthening of the NCP system as a whole, by sharing lessons learned, good practices and challenges of the Norway NCP with the broader community of NCPs from OECD countries.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/files.nettsteder.regjeringen.no\/wpuploads01\/blogs.dir\/263\/files\/2014\/02\/Peer-review.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1181\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1181 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/files.nettsteder.regjeringen.no\/wpuploads01\/blogs.dir\/263\/files\/2014\/02\/Peer-review-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"Peer review\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a>Meetings were held with representatives from all of the Norway NCP\u2019s main stakeholder groups, Norwegian government, Business organizations, Trade unions, Civil society organizations, Indigenous peoples organizations and Academia, in order to obtain balanced information. Representatives from international stakeholders (TUAC, BIAC and OECD Watch) also participated.<\/p>\n<p>NCP Norway engaged Shift, an independent, non-profit center for business and human rights practice, as an independent third-party to accompany and support the Peer Review team.<br \/>\nN\u00e5 foreligger teamets endelige rapport med anbefalinger.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Read the report here : <a href=\"https:\/\/files.nettsteder.regjeringen.no\/wpuploads01\/sites\/263\/2025\/07\/Peer-review-report-NCP-Norway-2014.pdf\">Peer review report &#8211; NCP Norway<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The report was presented to the other National Contact Points at a meeting in Paris 20th of March.\u00a0 Before that meeting, NCP Norway had drafted a <a href=\"https:\/\/nettsteder.regjeringen.no\/ansvarlignaringsliv\/files\/2014\/02\/Letter-to-OECD-from-Norway-NCP.pdf\">letter to the OECD<\/a> with a <a href=\"https:\/\/nettsteder.regjeringen.no\/ansvarlignaringsliv\/files\/2014\/02\/20140307_PR-follow-up-plan-NCP-Norway.pdf\">follow-up plan<\/a> and had solicited views from Norwegian stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>Would you like more information about the Peer review process?
